I am so very saddened to hear of the death of this fine veteran officer, a dedicated public servant, a man who served his fellow officers in the FOP and a family man. I was born in nearby Fairfax Co. Va., so I know this area well. Recent years have been hard for the PG Co. PD.

The loss of such a fine officer by a motor vehcile accident demonstrates that highways and conveyances remain the number one killer of officers. Seemingly routine tasks like driving in a sector can be fatal. No aspect of this job is routine; every task has danger lurking around the next curve.

I pray for his family, friends and colleagues. He now walks a beat in Heaven with St. Michael. God blesss, be safe and WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS just like wearing your body armor.

God Speed brother, we'll take it from here.

Thank you for your tremendous service and sacrifice to Prince George's County and the state of Maryland. It is very troubling to read of another Maryland officer being killed in the line of duty, and having to find out about it on the internet of all places. May he rest in peace and his family live life as best as humanly possible. You have a lot to be proud of, and thank you.

I hope to become a police officer in the future, and when I am old and have had the pleasure of serving the way that him and other heroes did, I will remember them and be proud.

Tony,
You will be missed, You gave until there was no more to give. today is truly a sad day in our state and you will be in our thoughts for many years to come, You reached out to all police survivors opening the FOP89 to all of us and making us feel welcome, taking the time to talk to and asking about the other survivors that were here from out of town.

Our Chapter has lost a great person.

Its true, Only the good die young.
Your work here is done God has called you home.
