A POLICEMAN'S PRAYER - Dear Lord, be with me on my beat this day and every day. Grant that each weary block I walk may ease a brother's way. Let me be kindly to the old and to the young be strong, but let me triumph over those whose acts are cruel or wrong. And when my own last summons comes and I stand in Your Court, Lord, may my rest with You be long, My punishment be short. RIP

To the Family & Friends of this Special Officer:
My heart goes out to you, and yours as you mourn such a difficult loss. I have felt your pain, and still do. I lost my fiancee almost 3 months ago, on his first night on the job. He was only 21. I know the pain your heart is feeling, I know about the endless nights where you don't think you can cry anymore - only to see more tears falling again. The pain is overwhelming. But know that your husband/father is in Heaven, and I bet he has met my Daniel and is having a wonderful time. He is always with you - wherever you go, and as time goes on life will somehow return to normal. Not instantly, but eventually. My prayers are with all of you @ the department, and your family in this time of sadness. May God Bless you and hold you extra close. All the best you, and yours..

Whenever I work our old detail and I hear a Harley Motor I just look expecting to see you. At first it kinda bothered me, then I realized it makes me think of you and all the great times together. Now I like the sound because it will remind me of you, so I never forget.

I miss you buddy

Dear Thomas,

They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true. But I never wanted memories I only wanted you. A million times I thought of you, A million times I cried, If love alone could of saved you....you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a special place, that no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a staircase, and heartache build a lane, I'd walk the path to heaven....and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same....But as god calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Thomas....I will never forget you or stop thinking about you....you were a great person and a really great brother..I truly miss you.

Love your sister, Michele

WHEN WE THINK OF TOMMY.. HE WAS A DISPATCHERS DREAM..HE WOULD ALWAYS RESPOND TO CALLS WITHOUT ANY HESITATION, VOLUNTEERING TO COVER OTHER UNITS AND ON THE 17TH HE DID JUST THAT...HE TOOK THE ACCIDENT FROM ANOTHER UNIT..GOING THE EXTRA MILE, DOING WHAT HE WAS TRAINED TO DO... TOMMY WE WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY, YOUR PASSING LEAVES A HOLE IN OUR HEARTS....BUT REST ASSURED THAT WE WILL ENVELOPE ANDREA AND TATYANA INTO THE DEPARTMENTS LOVING ARMS AND KEEP THEM SAFE...WATCH OVER US,GUIDE US AND CONTINUE TO PROTECT US....WE LOVE AND MISS YOU

Thomas, you were a special gift from God. You touched so many lives with your big heart and caring ways. The way you lived your life, is an inspiration. I feel truly blessed to have had the honor of knowing you. I'm so sad you had to go so soon. My heart breaks for everyone who loved you so deeply. I wish there was something more I could do to comfort them at this time. Please watch over us and know that you are remembered and prayed for everyday. Like the rest of the family, I long for the day we will meet again. Please strengthen us so we can support one-another. I will pray for you forever and you will never be forgotten.

Love, Ivy

To My Friend Tom,
I still remember like it was yesterday when we met in Fort Pierce. You welcomed me as the "Rookie" almost ten years ago now. We had some great times, you and I, and we will again someday. Watch over our loved ones as they mean so much to all of us, and we're watching yours.

To all that read this: Don't put off 'till tommorrow, what you can do today......You never know.......I miss my friend......

To my brother Thomas,
It seems like only yesterday that you joined me and my family in Fla. The time spent between the two of us and the joining of the families can never be replaced . You will never be forgotten nor will i ever let you down. I will continue to watch your daughter grow up and remind her of how great her father was and continue to lend that helping hand that you were known for.
With love and respect Michael.

The thin blue line grew by one this day
Our friend our brother has passed away
He rests now in a place far better than we
His gentle soul has crossed over the sea
We wear dark glasses not to hide the sun
But to shield the pain as we stand as one
As we cry and grieve and ask God why
Our fallen brother watches over us from the sky

"and as you loved one crosses the gates of heaven, the voices whisper I remember you"

Your death leaves another void in the blue-line. Its hard to replace a seasoned P.O. But in time some brave person may step up to the plate, put on a badge and a side arm and say" I will continue Ofc. Morash's watch"

I went through the Howard County, MD Police Academy with Tom, but it didn't take long for him to decide he belonged back in Florida. He was great guy and liked by everyone, and could always be counted on to make you laugh (without trying).
