as a fellow public servant i wish to offer my deepest sympathy to your family, agency, and friends during this tragedy. In May of this year we buried a fellow fire fighter Dave who i hope will show you the ropes there and please save me a place when its my turn. Thank you for protecting the streets in your community and keep an eye on those still here fighting fires or crimes down here on Earth. God Bless and Rest in Peace!!!!!!

A Part Of America Died

Somebody killed a policeman today
And a part of America died
A piece of our country he swore to protect
Will be buried with him at his side

The suspect that killed him
Will stand up in court
With counsel
Demanding his rights

While a young widowed mother
Must work for her kids
And spend many
Long lonely nights

The beat that he walked
Was a battlefield too
Just as if
He'd gone off to war

Though the flag of our nation
Won't fly at half-mast
To his name
They will add a gold star

Yes
Somebody killed a policeman today
In your hometown
Or mine

While we slept in comfort
Behind our locked doors
A cop
Put his life on the line

Now his ghost walks a beat
On a dark city street
And he stands
At each new rookie's side

He awnsered the call
Of himself gave his all
And
A Part Of America Died

Deputy James, I'm sadened to know that we have lost another officer in the line of duty. But, you did what you do because you chose it. You walked the thin blue line between warrior and servant and your community is grateful for your sacrifice. May God provide your family with swift closure in their loss, and to yourself, fast winds to your next assignment in heaven, as you walk those streets under his command. A huge reward is awaiting you. In the meantime, please watch over us and the remaining peace officers that will continue the watch in your absence. Goodnight sir.

To the family and friends of Deputy James :

Sometimes in life , only the step you are on or are taking right now , or the very next one ahead , may seem all that is illuminated for you now . Trust God to give you the amount of light you need for this very moment . Surrender your faith , as you are unable to see into the future , and not fully comprehending the past . And because it is God that has given each of you what light you have , you must reject the fear and doubt that may threaten to overtake you in this time .
Please walk forward one step at a time , trusting that the light God sheds is absolutely sufficient . ( Isiah 2:5 ) .
Rest assured that each and everyone of you will be remembered in my prayers as I have the upmost respect for our officers who " protect and serve " and their precious families .
" Blessed are those who mourn , For they shall be comforted ." Matthew 5:4

You are in a better place now and someday we shall meet again. Hold it down up there and keep 'em laughing just like you did with your fellow platoon members. All though I did not directly work by his side Dep James wore the same black and gray that I do and bore the same badge. He was a brother in arms and served a great purpose. He worked in a field that only a small percent of our population have the bravery to do. He was taken while trying to protect the life of another. He paid the ultimate sacrafice and was and is a hero. To his family and brothers on his platoon my codolences. Our department has suffered a great loss and the citizens of the county have lost a hero and protector.

Rest in peace BROTHER!!

To My Husband an Angel Killed In The Line Of Duty:

Hey God I just lost a dear old friend
Hey God I hope he's in your angel band
Hey God you know he believed in you
Just help me understand why you do the things you do

Hey God send me down some comfort please
Hey God I'll be down here on my knees
Hey God will we ever comprehend
The forgiveness and grace that lies waiting in the end

Oh there's anger and tears
For all of the years that your children won't have you to hold
Oh my heart had been broken
The angels have spoken still I wish I could watch you grow old

Hey God I know he didn't die alone
Hey God tell my old friend welcome home
Hey God please hear me when I pray.
I pray for a little peace until we meet again someday
Pray For the Children who are suffering in all HomeLands.
Let No One Die Alone.

Dear God, Keep Our officer safe if you can. If they should not make it back to our Homeland, Let it be the streets of Gold the are walking on now,.

Cause down Here Lord, They did a Good Job.

My Prayers are with you all.

And the Children who has to see this Crime happen to their family's.
