Reflections for Deputy Sheriff J. Holland Thomas, Sr.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Life can be so unfair . . . after 33 years you should have been taking it easy, spending time with family . . . or whatever you wanted to do. I'm so sorry. Thank you for your sacrifuce . . . thank you for your service . . . I'll always honor you, your name and your memory. With brotherly love and respect, Jim Crotty (Former Richmond, Virginia Police Officer).

To say Thank You for your many years of service and for making the ultimate sacrifice is so inadequate. There are no words to express the gratitude that I have for you and for your family. Sorry it took so long to remember you but now is a great time to say that I'll never forget you.
