Reflections for Sergeant Jerry Alton Mundy

My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Mundy's family, friends and co-workers. We all hurt when a member of our law enforcement family goes down. You will never be alone in your pain and grief. Psalm 55:22

Far too many police officers have been killed in the line of duty this year while setting up stop stricks. These officers risked their lives so that even the fleeing suspects would not be injured or killed, and I'm very sorry that they lost their lives at the hands of these heartless animals after trying to stop them safely. I am outraged about the death of Sergeant Mundy and Deputy Musice, and may their killers be put away for life so that their families get the justice they deserve. God bless their families, and please stay strong.

I'm sorry for your loss. May God be with your family, friends and brothers in this time of sorrow and grief. You gave your life doing your job, trying to protect others. I know God will reward you and your family. To your brothers: May God be with you and protect each of you in the trying times ahead. It will be difficult to go back to work. Just remember, we will see our fallen brothers again. May God be with you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
