To the family of Sgt. Mundy, There are no words that can help your pain and suffering today. Sgt. Mundy was a veteran police officer that loved being a cop. He was one of Tennessee finest and was a hero to all of us. I beleive in my heart that Sgt. Mundy is sitting in a better place called heaven talking and chatting with all of the heroes that have gone on before. He has become our guardian angel. Sgt Mundy until we meet again Rest in Peace my brother your watch is over and as Sheriff Ashe said "Justice will be done"

To Our Fallen Brother;

You are gone to a better place. You and your family will always be in my heart and my familys heart. We didn't know each other personaly but you are our brother. There is a thin blue line that connects us all. Even though you are gone we will always be connected. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. My brother you are walking with the lord. You was called into heaven to protect the streets of gold. Stand tall and be brave. I will see you when I reach the golden gates. Rest in peace my brother.

911 OPER/DISPATCHER Robin D.Meadows

I never knew you,
But we are brothers,
I never met you,
But we are brothers,
Our paths never crossed,
But we are brothers,
I have never patrolled in your town,
But I know we have been on duty together,
I just in another TN town.
And we are brothers.
And as a brother,
I feel the pain,
I feel the hurt,
And I feel the sadness that only a brother can undergo.
The sacrifices that each of us make everyday in nothing compared to the one you and your fellow officer have accepted.
One that everyone one of us is aware could happen
Any day, any moment, any second.
You have made me proud,
You have made my job easier because
I am more aware.
I am more cautious
And I will never forget you.
May God hold you in his hand and have you rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss....it is such an unexcusable act of violence for men that just try to protect all of us. I honestly believe public service and the military are so underpaid for the services they perform. I thank you for having such a valued member of society as your family. My nephew is an officer for the Berry Hill P.D., and he knew your loved one because he worked for WEMA as a firefighter and EMT before he went into police work. I just want you to know that you are in many people prayers and especially mine. He is not gone.....just gone on ahead! God bless you!

Deepest sympathy to the family of Sgt. Jerry Mundy.
