Words cannot express our sadness at what has happened. Saul was well loved and respected in our agency and we will miss him greatly. Deputy Gellagos - May the Lord comfort you, your family, your freinds and all of our brothers and sisters in the law enforcement community. Each day we go out knowing that this senseless tragedy can happen to one of us. Each day we come home thanking God we made it through another shift. God called you home early this day and we grieve for our loss of one of our best.

I knew Saul and had worked with him in the past. Saul was a honorable, decent, hard working Deputy with integrity and morality second to none. Our small community of Lake Chelan and Manson was blessed to have been Served and Protected by Deputy Saul Gallegos.
