Crump, I miss you , even tho you had left Hamilton it's still your home place, before you left y'all had the best police dept,Hamilton has ever had and that goes until right this day .I remember the night shift had the best officers to ever work here, and Marion co had the best to ever work there, you n e.hall n p king n b Palmer n s blalock were the truly best ,people knew they were going to be treated fair n could talk to you guys on night shift about things going on n y'all listened .my best memory was the night those Ol Miss cheerleaders van broke down and it was a hot night for winter ,the mechanic took forever to get there he was towing cars involved in a 3 car wreck just out of Hamilton n y'all loaded those gals up took them to get food n to police station n y'all let me ride along I remember 1 of them calling their boyfriend n telling him they were making Alabama fans become ol miss fans you said no there's nothing going to change us to make us ol,rebel fans n you turned around n saw your partner getting a kiss on the cheek n unsaid well at least for me anyway n you laughed so hard , you guys were lady killers, all,the lady's loved 3rd shift bc y'all were the best to everyone n now it's like no one likes the police here they don't speak to the citizens unless it's a hateful tone and they don't wave or take time to say hello ,you guys would be eating at McDonald's or pizza hut and every one wanted to talk to y'all or sit at y'alls table bc y'all showed that you were same as every one else n just good people persons they don't have that now they have bad attitudes n poor relations w people , poor leadership ,they are afraid of each other and what might be said bc of things they done n now others know it n it's like they don't have trust among themselves n each other ,telling stuff on one another n that's one thing you guys had that every one in Hamilton knew , if you needed your partners they were there n you guys knew it I learned a lot from just being around night shift w y'all well ol pal I just wanted to say hello again I drove thru cemetery to check on family's flowers n saw yours n opened up this page to say I miss you rest easy in heaven big guy you earned it

Hey brother, it seems like yesterday i was 9 years old and my dad would drop me off at your house so you could watch me and my brother. And you would cut grass with my dad all the time during the day till you went into work at the police dept... its hard for a 9 year old to comprehend something like that.. my dad always told me you needed to go to heaven to protect everyone up there.. well guess what brother! Im 24 now and fallowing in your footsteps as a police officer! Every day i put that badge on i think of you. Rest in peace brother, me and my family will always love you.

Thinking about you. I actually did follow your recommendations, and I am going to further my education way beyond your expectations. In retrospect, you were right and I was wrong, but is that really surprising? Thank you so much for your wisdom sweetheart. Thank you for being my friend and my first love. May your life continue to shine its light on those left behind.

Dear, Uncle James I miss you more than these words could ever explain... I never thought I'd loose you because we were so close if you weren't with Julian you were spending time with me and I'm grateful for that. Dad your Brother Had a Really tough time dealing with your death. his blood pressure stayed up and he cried almost everyday, to this day I wonder why? why you but I know when its your time its just your time. I missed you everyday seeing your smilng face, and knowing you were still here. if I could go back to the old days oh what a joy! I used to get so angry about the guy who caused the caotic and u called for killing. I wanted him to be in jail forever... but having hate brings no good. but still I was so upset. anyways Our family is Great & I love you umple james

Hey James, just wanted to share a few words.

Friends are never forgotten.

I am very thankful for all of you (yes, all).
We have shared many moments, good and bad.
We have prevailed, even through pain and tears.

Our journey will continue, God Willing, though it will not be without troubles.
We never know when our time is here.
But we will stand together forever, Brothers and Sisters in Blue.
