Josh, I went to conweb today to look at the monster that took your life, when it really hit me. He enjoys three meals a day, medical, dental care, internet privileges, hell he can even get a college degree. How is that fair? I don't understand. You will never be able to see your children grow up get married and start families. He took that away, yet the judicial system provides with those privileges. It hurts my heart, and I didn't realize how much until today. I printed his offender information sheet and put it up in my work area, so I could tell him everyday how badly he hurt this family. I can cuss at him and get my feelings out. Somehow that helps. I miss you and everyday wish you were here. Your dad's birthday is on Monday so please watch over him and let him know you are with him. I love you my nephew.

Hello my nephew. I am sitting here and work and all of a sudden you popped into my head, so I came here to tell you how much I miss you. You know your dad retired, again. I hope for good this time. It is time he enjoys his life. Your brother Lewis just become a daddy again to a beautiful littlel girl named Emmy. Your sister Angela is now a criminal investigator and still as ornery as ever. Things seem to go on even when our loved ones are taken from us. You are always on my mind and most days now I can smile with the memory of you. There are days that are hard, but somehow I get through it. I think with a little help from you and my dad. Thank you for your sacrafice my nephew, you are a hero.

Josh, Today I thank God for every day he gave me with you and all the memories that you left. I especially give thanks for your four sons and your beautiful granddaughter. You have gave me so many blessings and I am thankful. I hope you were there to meet your Aunt Myrna. When the wind came up at Pony Hill, I knew that you were all there to meet her. I do miss her and I told her to tell you that I love you.

I will end this with I am one day closer to you.

Thinking of you and your family today. A mom's love is fierce and unyielding and our children may hold our hands for only a short while, but hold our hearts forever.

Rest In Peace.

I can't believe that it will be nine years tomorrow that you were taken from all of us. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and other times it seems like it was a lifetime ago. We all miss your wonderful sense of humor and your beautiful smile. Tell Loren and Pat "hello" from all of us. May you all RIP! You will never be forgotten.

As I sat at the wall in DC on Mother's Day I thought about your mom , and know how much she misses you and that the pain in her heart is so strong and unbearable at times, but I also knew I was there with the most special heroes in the world. As I held my candle high I thought of all of you, I promise to never forget the sacrifice that you all made for all of us. Continue to rest in peace Josh....
