Reflections for Senior Trooper Anthony Greg Cogdill

God Speed Brother

I reflect, and remember:
All gave some
And some gave all
Some stood through
For the red, white and blue
And some had to fall
And if you ever think of me
Think of all your liberties
And recall
Some gave all. (unknown writer)

To Anthony's family,
I know your loss will be difficult to deal with but I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and help you make it through. I can't believe that another G-5 trooper has been killed on I-40 by a "professional truck driver" running into the back of him. Anthony was so kind to me after Calvin was killed and he'll never know how much that meant to me. You'll always be in my prayers and please contact me if there is anything I can do for you. Sometimes it helps to have someone to listen to you. Know that there are many others who have been through similar tragedies and will do anything to help you....just let them know how they can help. Remember, your entire family will be grieving in different ways and sometimes it may not be easy to deal with others but don't let this tragedy tear your family apart...I'm sure Anthony wouldn't want that. "Neither death...nor anything else in all creation, will be able separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 8:38-39.

With Loving Prayers,
Denise
