Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jeremiah Kirk Johnson

Deputy Johnson, thank you for your service to our country. We are soldiers fighting a war. To his wife and children, your husband and father was a hero, he died doing what he was destined by God to do with his life. You will see him again, and it will be a reunion at Heaven's Gates. God Bless you in this most trying time.

MIAH,

I enjoyed the many times that I was able to work with you. You are a great friend and good example. Your honesty and integrity was a reflection of your character. You exhibited a high degree of professionalism in the way you conducted yourself on duty and off. I will always remember the last case we worked together. It was always a great comfort to have you near by. It is an honor to call you my friend. May god bless you and your family.

Jeremiah was a gentle giant. He was in the job to make a difference, and did. Jerimiah was succsessful in all that he did. It has been a pleasure to be able to know and work with Jeremiah for the last 6 1/2 years. Jeremiah had more integrity than most anyone else that I know. There is no way to replace a man of such integrity and he will be deeply missed. My deepest thoughts go out to Jeremiah's parents, brothers, sisters and especially his wife and three darling children. To Jeremiah's wife: Know that he loved you with all his heart and his pride and joy was the three children that you have together. To the Children: Know that your father was a great man and a hero and loved you much. May God be with you, to comfort you in these hard times.

"Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God."

I am so saddened to hear of another fine young officer, a family man, husband and father, lost in the line. This once again, sadly underscores the dangers that we all face daily. there is no "routine duty" in law enforcement. Vehicle accidents and heart attacks don't get the media sensationalism but these tragedies claim far more officers than guns.

I pray for his family, wife, children, firends and colleagues. He now patrols the streets of Heaven with St. Michael.

God Bless and be safe out there.

Jerimiah you were taken much too soon, your work here was far from complete, so we think.

Miah now your god as called you home to complete a far greater work.

Know that we will never forget you and know that you were loved and revered for the work you have done among us, but mostly because of who you were (are).

God Bless You and Bless Your Family ALWAYS!

I cannot think of Officer Jeremiah Johnson without the thought of integrity coming to mind. There is no Officer more trustworthy, honest and loyal to the cause than Miah.
Miah worked so hard to become part of the law enforcement community, his dedication and commitment are manifest in the manner he was able to so proudly protect and serve in our community.
My deepest sympathy go to Miah’s parents and extended family although my heart goes to his spouse and children.
To Miah, God bless until we meet again!

Those who offer to serve do so knowing
that they have drawn a line in the sand beyond
which the evils of the world may not safely cross.
