Jim I know you would find this funny I ordered a memorial bracelet for you and just happened to be sitting here looking at it and realize they put the wrong month on the bracelet. I think about you and miss you everyday and continue to try to live my life the best that I can with what you taught me you are an amazing friend and mentor. Rest easy old friend.

Just sitting here and as usual was thinking about you and that night. It is weird not seeing your memorial sign up while they are doing the construction. Rest in peace old friend.

15 years today. Where does the time go, it feels like we lost you yesterday. Only our age and the age of your boys tell the real story. Watch over all of us.

Though the pain is still in my heart, the edges have dulled with the wearing down of time. Instead of a sharp edge that bled there is now only bruises on my soul. The wounds imparted on that May night appear to heal, but in appearance only. Those scars are still there buried away in my soul and will never leave me. Nor do I want them to.
