As we walk those same halls, we remember those who came before us. We most especially remember those who shed their life's blood in the line of duty.
Rest In Peace, Jim Lippincott.

Deputy Keeper Lippincott,
Sir, even though it's been over 117 years since you died in the line of duty you are still remembered. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of New Jersey. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer. It took another 4 months but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 115th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.
