Mike, We all at the Sharon Police Department want you to know how deeply your passing has touched our lives. We are in two different states, yet only 11 miles apart and share the same bad guys. Countless times we chased and caught your departments bad guys and your department chases and catches ours. Every week we read of an officer paying the supreme sacrifice, but none so close to HOME. If there is anything your family needs, Mike, We are here ! You are our brother ! On Sunday 11-16-2003 we are having a Blue Mass at St Joseph's Church in Sharon to honor you Mike. I know you will be there with us. Your parents will be there , they are proud of you, and so is the entire Shenango and Mahoning Valleys. Take care my brother, and watch over all of us you've left behind.

God Bless you, and keep safe the Men and Women in Blue at YPD.

JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED 11-05-03. Mike, your killer has been convicted and now sentenced with the most deserving penalty. I pray that you can now fully rest in peace. And I hope Steph and all your family can forget the heartwrenching trial and move on with their lives, remembering the good times spent with you. Miss you very much.

I received a speeding ticket on August 29th, and I know you were laughing. It was always in your nature to laugh and bring smiles to the rest of us. But that night I got my ticket the man in blue walked up to me in the rain, and I couldn't help but miss you. The lifetime of memories flooded my mind, as tears streamed down my face. All the while I sat quietly praying I was not in my car but with all those I love dancing at your wedding. It's hard without you. You never wanted the spotlight, I know. But Michael, you are irreplacable, and somedays it just hurts. Hopefully you realize (although it was never said enough) I love you. Mike, it's never going to be the same without you, I don't care how much time passes.
