Reflections for Patrolman Michael Thomas Hartzell

Missing you today, and always. I don't make it to the cemetary anywhere near as often as I should. I promise to be there soon. You are in my heart, my thoughts and prayers. Love and miss you much.

mike,

i think about you and your family a lot. everyone's life is different now and its not fair. things like this aren't supposed to happen.
every time i go to the bike path i look at your memorial and say a prayer. (there's also a 70% chance i'll see your mom riding her bike).
save me a spot up there.

Mike,
I'm sorry to say that the coward has taken his life. The State will not have the opportunity to serve justice on Mr. Koliser, but there is a greater Judge that Mr. Koliser must now face, and I'm certain His judgement will be far more harsh and swift than that any mortal could impose.

Good speed Officer Hartzell,
I know that you watch over us all.

Thinking of you, Steph, and your family today. We can't believe it's been 2 years. Seems like yesterday that you were still here. We will never ever forget all of the fun times we had, especially the summer of 2002....when you chased "a certain someone" with our video camera, laughing the whole time. WE MISS YOU SO MUCH.

Officer Hartzell thank you for your service and dedication. You will be missed and never forgotten. May your family, fiancee, and everyone who loves you stay strong in the memories and love you shared with them.

I lost my fiancée, Scott Stewart, in August of 2002. There not a day that goes by without him in my heart and mind. I understand the pain your fiancee must feel from being ripped from you to soon. The support and love from others who know my pain have helped tremendously.

Stephanie, if you ever feel the need to reach out to others who know your pain, please contact me and other s/o’s. A search on yah groups will bring you to us. Just enter the below as it is.

Always remember as long as your heart beats Michael will be with you. He’s there everyday in your heart.

Hugs,
Monica
