I remember Aaron Blount From Germany he went to middle school with me.Aaron was a funny guy he liked to dance.I recall him doing the Flava Flav dance like it was yesterday. That is one thing that stood out in my head, another was how kind and generous he was as well a person.i often question why certain people such as Aaron had to go ,but I figure that the lord needed him for something special.Aaron I send my prayers out to your family.I know your son will know how great and special you were, and your fiance already knew your qualities as a person.I love you brother, you will be missed.

Aaron,

It almost feels like only yesterday we were in high school on the football field or racing our Classic VW Bugs down Camp Creek Pkwy. You were always a person I admired and looked up to like a big brother. I remember when you joined the force and how much you wanted to make a difference in community and in the world. We ate lunch at Popyes on Old Natl the day before the 22nd. I think about you every time I go. I just wanted to say I will never forget you and how you touched my life by being the man you were. You will never be forgotten and I will see you again big bro!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the sixth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

You have not been forgotten. I can remember attending your memorial services. My son and I sat on the font row he was only 4 at the time and still remembers that morning and he asks me about it occasionally and says " Mom, are you still going to be the Police? I said yes, he said well, what about the Officer that died. I said he's with the God and he is watching over everybody along with God. My son said will he watch over you. I said Yes. once a Police always a Police. I say that to say. I never knew you, but you left a wonderful mark in my life and my son's life. He's 9 now and still remembers that day and probably always will.

Aaron,
I really miss that smile greeting me in the afternoon as you were coming into work and I was going home after I went to day watch. Little did I know that when I saw you that afternoon it would be the last. Im glad to know that the piece of crap that did this to you has finally been sentenced after almost 8yrs. We miss you Aaron and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think about you and the fun we use to have on evening watch. Rest well my friend and co-worker, your in a better place!!!!!

I thought about you the other day and couldn't stop laughing. I remember standing in your apartment looking at that blow up plastic couch and wondering to myself 'why does he have a cat?!'. You were a great friend and I miss teasing you! You were a great officer and I miss working with you!

Aaron,
It's been a while since I stopped in to see you and remember all the good times we had working together. You were a good friend and a great officer and I just simply wanted to remind you that you have NOT been forgotten and never will. Thank you for your committment and sacrifice that could never be expressed enough. It takes a true individual to go out into the desolate and cold nights to protect and serve other individuals. You are a true inspiration through these times as I contemplate becoming a police officer. You see, I just graduated Morehouse College at the top 5 percent of my class and my family and friends are constantly saying "Its just stupid to be a cop". But, I know differently; I know that it is the intrinsic qualities invested deep within sought out individuals, those that God has called on to do a job that others cannot perform, and that others cannot understand. I told my mother the other day that becoming a cop is my dream, a dream that departs far from financial gain, but one that will provide the highest ranges of fulfillment. I aslo informed my mother that everyone will die but few to get die doing what they loved to do. Officer Blount, once again thank you for sacrificing your life to make the world a better place. You are a true hero.

I was reading an article about a couple of fallen officer from Dekalb County and you crossed my mind. You've been gone for a while but your laugh and smile have not been forgotten. I know that you are still smiling and laughing because I'm sure you've seen Officer "PATCH" Adams in heaven; and I know he had a story to tell. Well, you guys keep enjoying the glorious sunshine that our FATHER has given you. I think I speak for the entire Fulton County family in saying, "WE LOVE AND MISS YOU BOTH." May GOD continue to bless you and your families.
