Reflections for Police Officer Eddie Mundo, Jr.
Eddie,
Brother, hard to believe it’s been 20 years. I think of you often. Seems like yesterday that you left…I know your family misses you. I know you’ve looked down on and protected your family the last 20 years. Just know you’re not forgotten!

Thinking of you and your family today. Especially your parents, wife and son. 20 years without you is far too long. I’m praying for them.

Eddie.... I looked you up and read the bad news... you were such a sweet child....my daughter spent time with your family in the 80's when you were about the same age. You always looked out for her.. I knew you would become something in life.... your son will continue your legacy.

18 years... in the 18 years you have been gone your precious baby boy has now grown into an adult. One I’m so sure you would be so proud of. For some reason saying you’ve been gone 18 years hurts harder this year. My prayers are with all who are hurting a little worse on the anniversary of your death. You were one of the best and have left a hole in so many hearts. I miss you friend. You are gone but never forgotten

I miss you brother. You were my best friend and helped me in more ways than one when I needed it. I think of how you touched so many and am thankful everyday you touched mine. I retired from lmpd last August and am working for mpd now. I remember the goals we had and wonder what it would look like with you still here, my guess is we both would be working together at some small dept. doing our old “john and ponch” ways or maybe just enjoying retirement hanging by my pool with our wives and kiddos. I hope that I honor your legacy as best I can. Love and miss you bro!!

17yrs ago was a horrible day. As I get ready to retire this year or the next, I will always think of the times we had together working, off duty and how you helped me thru some rough patches in my life and help me build what I have today. Miss you brother!! You will never be forgotten!

I can't believe that it's been 17 years since you went home to our Heavenly Father. I think of you often and all the wonderful memories that we all shared! My heart aches for Brandy and Julian and your parents and friends. There isn't a day that goes by that you aren't thought of and missed by so many. Watch over us all...
