Reflections for Patrolman Patrick J. Treanor
No passage of time can ever erase your service and sacrifice. Rest in peace always.

NYPD PATROLMAN PATRICK J TRAINOR was a relative of mine. He was from the Trainor family nicknamed “Peters Traynor”. This family is seated in the town land of Drumdart, County Monaghan, Ireland. As a retired police officer of 27 years myself, I take pride in the courage Pat Trainor displayed working the tough docks of the Bronx where he was killed. Sgt. Brian Trainor

I am Douglas "Tim the Enchanter" Trainor, Honorary Chieftain of the "Aedh" Treinfhirs, and one of our family members recollected a family story about a great uncle Pat Treanor who was a police officer in NYC who had died. I do believe we finally found him! They will be so pleased to know about your records when they read my message. Thank you!

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Treanor and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 122nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003). Unfortunately, I had to add the name of another friend recently. Deputy Jeffery Hewitt, Buncombe County (NC) Sheriff’s Department, E.O.W. April 4, 2004.
I want to honor all of those who gave their life in the line of duty. Although your death was many many years ago, you are still a hero.
God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
...Gone, but never Forgotten....
