Reflections for Police Officer Charles Roy Clark

Rest in peace. You will be remembered as a hero! We have the watch now.

Inv. Michael Walker
Tallahassee Police Department

TO THE FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FELLOW COLLEAGUES OF OFFICERCLARK,
I OFFER MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES DURING THIS INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TIME. I AM TRULY SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF ANOTHER FELLOW OFFICER. PLEASE FIND SOME PEACE AND COMFORT KNOWING THAT OFFICER CLARK IS NOW SAFE IN HEAVEN WATCHING AND PROTECTING THOSE WHOM HE LOVED. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT DURING THIS TIME OF WAR, THERE ARE HUMAN BEINGS THAT WOULD TAKE THE VERY PRECIOUS LIFE OF AN OFFICER WHO IS OUT TO PROTECT HIS CITIZENS. THOSE COWARDS WHO TOOK OFFICER CLARK'S AND THE INNOCENT FEMALE VICTIM'S LIFE WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE STRONG AND KNOW THAT OFFICER CLARK WILL CONTIUE TO LIVE THROUGH ALL THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES THAT EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM WILL CHERISH FOREVER. AGAIN, I OFFER MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES AND MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL AS I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OFFICER CLARK.

WIFE OF LAPD DETECTIVE
LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPT.

My heart and prayers go out to the wife, family, friends and coworkers of Officer Clark. May he rest in peace and continue his watch from above now.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of officer Clark. To lose him to such a senseless act is horrible. Myself and the rest of my class are about to embark on our own careers in Law Enforcement and it is things like this that make us remember how fragile life is. To Officer Clarks family I wish to extend my deepest condolences and remind them that he is watching all of us from above. 4-4-03

OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, MRS. CLARK. MAY THE PEACE OF GOD WHICH PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING KEEP YOUR HEART AND MIND, AND MAY HIS GRACE CARRY YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY.

To the family of Police Officer Charles R. Clark and the Houston Police Department, your extended family of Law Enforcement Officers grieve with you during this time.

There are but two persons who protect the sinful human race from destroying itself. One is God's Holy Spirit. The other is the Peace Officer. Without them, we would all perish at each other's hands.
According to Romans 13.1-5...
God ordains the Peace Officer’s profession.
The Peace Officer is sent by God.
The Peace Officer is vested with God's authority to enforce the law.

Though our badges are different, our mission is the same. Rest in peace with the other fallen Heroes, my brother. We will continue the fight in your honor.

What a tragic loss, such a fine veteran officer. Such a senseless act of savagery. My heart goes out to his family, friends, colleagues and the entire HPD.

We all share in the grief for we are all family of the badge. He now patrols the streets of Heaven with St. Michael. God Bless and be safe.

Rest easy brother, we have it from here.
