93 years ago you lost your life while proudly wearing your badge. Your desire to serve and protect lives on through your great- great grandson, who now wears a badge.

Robert,

It takes a special type of person to be a prison guard/corrections officer. Thank you for your dedicated service to the city of Baltimore. I wish I would have had the chance to meet you!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Robert,
On today, the 83rd anniversary of your murder, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Maryland. There is no job tougher in Law Enforcement then that of a Corrections Officer. It took another year, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.

My brother, I know firsthand the kind of job corrections can be. Its dirty, nasty, hot, cold, loud, stressful, scary and can erupt in an instant. It takes a special type of person to be locked inside the facility along with the inmates. Godd Bless you.
