Officer Schultz,
On today, the 20th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Armed Forces. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Kevin,

I only know you through your wife. She adored you.

What I want to share with you is how strong she is. She has learned how to become a stronger woman through her grief. She found a way to reach out to others. She has pulled me up through my grief on more than one occasion. I am proud to call her my friend. I have no doubt that you are proud to watch her from where you are now, with your new buddies next to you, and say, "Yep, that's my girl!"

Thank you for your service & dedication!

Kevin...
So sorry we lost track of each other after High School. Thought of you several times in the late 1980's but without today's technology, searching was not an easy thing to do. Called Charlotte Swafford several years ago and learned that you had died. Wish we could have reconnected, and that I could have been at your wedding to share your joy. Your wife sounds like a wonderful person. Thanks for the fun times in High School - You are not forgotten. Rest well my Friend !!

Thank you for your sincerity...it is very much appreciated. The fight continues...New Mexico has chosen not to honor his memory, by not supporting his family. They took the media props...and bail out. There are those who can make the changes, fix the wrong...they have that option..or should I say opportunity to right a wrong...continue to pray for them that God would lead them in the direction HE wants, not me.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 129th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Cheryl,, I read that you had to fight for your heroic's husband's death benefits for his family: a battle that
should not have occurred. I pray for your solace today for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

Its 2010, I have just learned of Kevins death a couple of days ago, I am grieving something terrible. Kevin and I graduated from highschool together. He was a WONDERFUL" friend, we lost touch. I am truly happy that he found a wife. Cheryl, you and your son were blessed to have him in your life, but I really think that he greatly blessed many times to have you both in his life. I have cried for 2 days, guess Im on a roll....we lost touch, and now I truly wished that I would have been a better friend and kept in touch w/ him. Cheryl, you and I could be friends right now. All that I have read.........absolutley reflect the same highschool "kid" that I remember. Oh, my goodness, Kevin, Im sorry I lost touch w/ You!!! YOU ARE 1 IN A MILLION!!!

Cheryl and Kaegan,

You may not remember me, but I will always remember all of you. I worked with Kevin as a dispatcher at the PD...I remember celebrating his birthday just days before....joking around with kaegan when he was just a little boy visiting us at the office...

We may have lost touch over the years, but Kevin will always be remembered, and you and Kaegan will always be in my prayers. God bless!
