To the family, friends and fellow officers of Det. Rodney Andrews and Det.James Nemorin-you have my deepest sympathy in this loss.

Although I was a Detective in a much smaller community than New York, I still mourn the loss of another "fellow Officer"

Just today, I had a "citizen" say to me that he resented and could not understand why Police Officers where able to "retire" at a much younger age than people like him who worked just as hard or harder than we ever worked. My only thought was that - a lot of people just don't have a clue what an Officer does in his or her career.!!

We are deeply saddened by the brutal murder of our brother officers. Our deepest sympathies to the families of Det. Rodney Andrews and Det. James Nemorin and to all of their fellow members of NYPD. We will pray for the survivors of the families.

So sorry for your tragic loss. Our society is so violent. Wish this
could have turned out differently, but it is fortunate that 4 were
apprehended. Your loved ones are in my thougths and prayers.

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall gently upon your field
And untill we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand

God bless you and your family.
