To the family of Detective James V. Nemorin and the New York Police Dept., your extended family of Law Enforcement Officers grieve with you during this time. Though our badges are different, our mission is the same. Rest in peace with the other fallen Heroes, my brother. We will continue the fight in your honor.

There are but two persons who protect the sinful human race from destroying itself. One is God's Holy Spirit. The other is the Peace Officer. Without them, we would all perish at each other's hands.
According to Romans 13.1-5...
God ordains the Peace Officer’s profession.
The Peace Officer is sent by God.
The Peace Officer is vested with God's authority to enforce the law.
A Peace Officer's badge is to be honored by us, because it is honored by God.

Another sensless tragedy against two of our boys in blue. We now have another Angel with a badge, protecting us from above. My prayers are with you all.
God Bless

Two officers down
put your knee to the ground.
Two officers down
while we worked safe and sound.
Two officers down
no one makes a sound.
Two officers down
Two families tears soak the ground.
Two officers down
put your knee down
In a final salute to the heros'.
Two officers down
may they sleep safe and sound
as their bodies are given now
to this hallowed ground.
Their spirits comfort now
the youngest victim of a grieving town.

I would like to extend my condolences to the family of Detective Nemorin and also to the New York City Police Department. My cousin was killed in the line of duty this past November and can relate to what the family of Detective Nemorin is going through. My thoughts are with you.

Somebody killed a Policeman today,
and part of America died.
A piece of the country he swore to protect
will be buried with him at his side.

The beat that he walked was a battlefield, too,
just as if he had gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half-mast,
to his name they will add a gold star.

The suspect who shot him will stand up in court,
with counsel demanding his rights;
While a young widowed mother, must work for her kids,
and spend many long, lonely nights.

Yes, someone killed a Policeman today,
maybe in your town or mine.
While we slept in comfort, behind our locked doors,
a cop put his life on the line.

Now his ghost walks the beat, on a dark city street,
and he stands by each rookie's side.
He answered the call.....of himself he gave all,
and part of America died.
