Dana,
I just figured it out that Tpr. Blanton was your husband. I remember you from when I was at S&S(H'Burg). I am so sorry for your loss. You and your son are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family. May the person responsible be brought justice in a most speedy manor.

I worked with Micheal while he was stationed at Cheyenne Mtn. All he could ever talk about was going home and becoming a trooper. He was an outstanding troop while in the military and I am sure he exceeded all expectation as a trooper. My prayers are with Dana, Spencer and all his family. A true loss.

My heart goes out to you, Dana and Spenser. I enjoyed seeing you all at the reunion, and Josh and I were hoping to spend time with you and Michael again. My constant thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Sharon

I last saw Michael, Dana, and little Spenser at Dana's 10-year high school reunion this September. Dana and Michael had been married for nearly 10 years and all could see that during that decade they had grown together and developed into two amazing people. They had embraced their roles as husband and wife, father and mother. They were two wonderful people who served God, country, community, and family. Michael made such a positive impact on the world. He won’t be forgotten.

Mike, I only met you a short time ago when you stopped to check on me on a traffic stop. We talked several times in passing or while sitting in court. You were very professional in what you did. You seemed to enjoy your job to the fullest. I am glad to hear that you were close to God in your family and work life. May God bring peace and understanding to your family during this tragic event. We just lost a brother of ours a couple weeks ago. May you and Andre Booker look over the rest of us and help to keep us safe. God Bless you and your family.
