My thougths and prayers are with Deputy David Jones' wife, children, family, friends nd co-workers. You are not alone in your pain and grief. The law enforcement family is a large, but close family. We all share your sorrow with you. Miles may separate us, but love knows no bounds. Psalm 55:22

To Deputy Jones' family,

You have my deepest sympathies and grief during this sad time. Being a fellow Officer I grieve with you and those who are affected by this senseless act. May God bear you up and comfort you with the arms of his love. I believe your loved one is with God at this time and will be with you and watch over you. No words can express how we as Officers feel at the loss of your loved one. Please know that we are a family and that you will always be a part of this family of brothers and sisters who risk their lives everyday. May we always honor David and those who have gone before.

He was an excellent officer who talked about his love for his family when we worked cases together, his absence hurts us all deeply. My thoughts and prayers go out for Dave's Family and Garfield County. God speed Dave, I'll miss you.
