Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

Rest in peace sister.

Officer Scott White

Our thoughts and prayers go out to this officer, friends, and family. People may come and go, but HERO'S remain. When you start your shift and feel that tingle throughout your body, thats the reminder that they are looking over you. Keeping you safe and telling you that they are still there. You done well officer Herring-Patrick. Go walk a beat on heavens streets, we'll take it from here. Until we meet at the crossroads, REST IN PEACE.

I truly believe that as our mission of tending the Lords sheep is complete, he calls us to a higher duty. It is once again that the Lord has called one of our family members to stand with him. Ofc. Herring-Patrick was called to stand with our Lord and savior. Rest easy my sister for you have completed your mission and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. You will be in our hearts forever.

I rather be a door keeper at the house of the Lord then to dwell in tents among wickedness. To the Officers and Family of Officer Patrick. Some times we ask why things must be, but God in his great widsom has made it beyond our powers to see. Looking back in tenderness, looking back in tears, cherish the years, remember the laughter you had with Shelia and leave the rest to God.

The thin blue line is thinner today, but its mystery is that it will never disappear. As long as there are men and women willing to pin the badge on everyday and walk through the "valley of the shadow of death", the thin blue line survives! As long as there are those among us willing to be the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong, the thin blue line, the great equalizer, continues through our nation wrapping itself around the world! We police officers are a resilient gang...we will carry on the mission that we have chosen. We must! To honor the memory of Officer Herring-Patrick, and the many who have gone before her, we must carry on. To the family of Officer Herring-Patrick: My words will never fill your void...ever...I will not even try. My prayers, and the nation's, are with you all. To the Officers of the Norfok Police Department: Dig down deep and search for the fortitude and the courage to do what you have to do. Let the thin blue line envelope you. Lean on each other. Remember Sheila...EVERYDAY and never forget her family! Honor her by honoring them every chance you get.

You truly are a hero. God Bless You and rest in peace.

I am sad to have once again come here and seen that another name has been added to this list of fallen heroes. When will this senseless killing stop.

The only comfort we can have in this case is that this fallen hero has gained her eternal reward, and the scum that perpetrated this act have also met their maker, without a defence lawyer present to try to get off on a technicality and sentencing has been rendered, and I understand there's no parole there.

Rest in peace sister, we'll take the watch from here.
