It breaks my heart to hear of the loss of another officer who was just doing their job. I didn't know Trooper Ambrose, but if he is anything like our troopers in Tennessee, he stood tall and proud and did his best. It is a loss for all of law enforcement and my thought and prayers are with his family, friends, and co-workers.

Deputy Faith Hill
Shelby County Sheriff's Office

Another senseless tragedy......I wish people would pay attention to their surroundings when they are driving. I lost a trooper in N.C. in a similar manner. My heart breaks for Trooper Ambrose's family & friends....especially here at Christmas. No matter the time of year, it is devastating to lose someone like this. May God wrap his loving arms around you & comfort you. You will be in my prayers.

Rest in peace and God bless you Trooper Ambrose. Such a tragedy, much like earlier this year when Larry was taken from us. As you stand with God next to Trooper Gleason, look after us as we continue "the watch" in your name. To the fellow Troopers and family of Trooper Ambrose, be strong. You are in the thoughts and prayers of your brothers and sisters here in Corning, NY.
