Reflections for Police Officer Larry DeWayne Lee

My thoughts are with your loved ones on this 4th anniversary of your end of watch. You have not been forgotten. I know you can't personally tell your Mother that you love her, but I want her to know that you love her and are still within her heart and will always be there for as long as she walks this earth. You are a true hero and heroes never die, you will never be forgotten.

I am not sure where to start. I talk to you alot and sometimes I feel you there. Giving me the support that only you could!! Larry, you are a GREAT friend. I wish that you could see me now. I finally have gone back to school and working on that degree I always said I would get. Chemical Dependancy counselor can you believe it!! And Linnea is so big now. I remember when you met her and who you would say how much she looked like Momma! LOL I miss your humor, but I also knew that I could count on you for anything. I miss you and one the the things that gives me comfort is that I will see you again one day. Until then keep the angels in heaven laughing and know that those of us that knew you have been touched by you and your spirit.
Much love to you Larry

I was driving home from work just the other day, & saw a truck with an MPPD 105 decal. Of course, it brought tears to my eyes. I think of you often and remember how you could brighten someone's day (myself included) just by being in the same room. I am blessed to have known you and I miss you, as do countless others... You will forever have a special place in all our hearts. ~ 3/8/06

Every time I'm out driving around, and I see a patrol unit with MPPD 105 in the corner of the rear window you cross my mind. I hope Larry's Mom and Son and the rest of the family is doing well. Three years doesn't seem like a long time ago. Larry is missed by not only public safety, but by several civilian friends he knew in person and online. We all miss you, and are thankful each time we think about you, how well you enriched our lives just by knowing you.

To the family and friends of Officer Lee and his fellow officers with the Moss Point POlice Department, and most especially to Officer Larry Lee:

Today it has been four years since your tragic death in the line of duty. Officer Lee, your valor and dedication are not forgotten.

I hope that his family is still embraced by the care and comfort of their law enforcement family, and other police survivors.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Officer Lee gave to his community and the citizens of Mississippi, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on October 17, 2002.

In loving memory of P.O. Larry Lee:
It is sad to read these reflections and
see how much you were loved and
are missed. 2 years is not nearly enough time to get over your loss, the wound is still so fresh. My thoughts are with your family, your friends, and your law enforcement family. May God continue to walk you thru your valley of Grief. God bless.

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer.

Tonight, October 17, 2003 we dedicated the shift to the memory of P.O. Larry Lee who died on this date one year ago.

When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.

Officer Lee's sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Knew Larry as a member of my online gaming clan.
He was well liked and always had a way of making people feel
welcome on the server.
When we got news of his passing it was like a blow like none
other. We mourned for a fallen Officer and friend that week.
We still miss him, and we talk about him alot.
Rest well Larry, You deserve your rest.
Your fellow officers have the watch now.
From the Cajuns, we miss you "[Cajun]/[C.O.P.S] Nforcer".

Hello Larry,
It has been awhile since I have talked to you. I was shocked to hear that you had been taken from this world and from the job you so much loved. You took me in when I came to moss point and you showed me the ropes, you taught me that life should be enjoyed no matter what and that there is even a bright side to everything. I sit here today wishing that it would have been me there instead of you. I truly can not believe that you have moved on to that future that we all too soon come to. I am truly honored to have had you as my FTO and to have worked on your shift, you brought many laughs to me and I can only say that I will continue on in LE in your honor in the state of florida and that I will see you at roll call on that day that I too see the eow. God Bless you for all of your selflessnes devotion to all of us. I Know you are watching.

Although we did not know you personally, we mourn you as if you were a brother - in reality that is what you are. All those that lost you are in our thoughts and prayers. You will be in our memory forever. I thank you and at the same time am so sorry that you made the ultimate sacrifice. We love you

The love and friendship we shared was not by chance. You loved me unconditionally. I will miss your laugh, your touch, your silly moods, your singing, your smile, your voice, your phone calls, but most of all I'll miss you and the love you gave me. I know I'll never be alone, because you will always live in my heart. I love you Larry.
Forever yours,
