I just read an article today in the local newspaper commemorating your ultimate sacrifice. You are still remembered 50 years later. God bless

Policeman Beatty - What a tragedy. You should have grown old with your wife and watched your kids grow into adults. Alas, we know not the outcome when we engage in this profession. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 43rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was murdered on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.

Malcomb,

My dad tells me many fond stories of the two of you growing up, going to Bob's, joining the force, and of your untimely death. Thanks for being such a good friend to my dad that 40+ years later he still talks about you. My prayers are with you and your family. May you rest in peace.
