10 years ago on this day was the worst day of my life. I've never felt so helpless and hurt in my life. If I was given one wish, it would be for you to be with your family again. Not one day goes by where I don't think of you. You will FOREVER be in my heart and mind. I pray that God will continue to comfort & bless your family.

"You did your job so well;
You faced new dangers each day.
But in one rash and senseless moment
Your life was taken away.

But Valor and strength can never fade
Your name now engraved with the brave.
With Honor we will always remember,
And pay Tribute to the life that you gave."

In loving memory of Scott Stewart and with heartfelt
prayers for his family. From Bob & Donna Rundell

10 years without you, miss and think of you everyday.

Though your smile
is gone forever,
and your hand I
cannot touch, I still have
many memories of the
one I love so much.
Your memory is my
keepsake, with which
I'll never part.
God has you in His
keeping I have you
in my heart.

Always in my heart, love you

I always think about you, but I have been thinking about you a lot these past two weeks. Putting a video together for your EOW has kept you in front of my face..lol. I can not even believe it has been 10 years, I still miss you and think about you all the time. As I put the video together, I am amazed at the friendships that I have developed because of what happened to you. I do not know where I would be right now without those people in my life. I know you will be with us on the 4th and that you and Jessica will be laughing at everything going on that night. You both will never be forgotten!!!

Love you,

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
We are having our dinner today, makes it easier for Deb to find someone to take care of the horses, rather hard on Thanksgiving Day.
As always I will never get use to not seeing your face at the table. Believe me everyone will be thinking of you.
Sunday took your wreath out to the cemetery, another sad event.
Love and miss you.

Had a great time at the sibs retreat last weekend, it was great seeing old friends and making many new ones. I feel so great about life and where my life is going, I owe alot of that to my trips to the retreat, especially the last three years. I am a completely different person than I was 3 years ago. I never thought I would be this happy, thanks for watching over us. Once we have Jordan healthy again, I can say our life is absolutely perfect.

Watch over Jordan over the next couple of weeks, and ESPECIALLY once she starts driving on her own next month. She is a great kid and I know that you are so proud of her.

Love and miss you!

I can't believe you have been gone 9 yrs, miss and think of you every day.
Had your EOW get together yesterday,as always had a good turn out of friends and family. The weather was beautiful, not hot like last year.
The Metro Detroit Pipes and Drums played in your honor and Jordan played the drums it is such an honor for her to play in your memory.
Andrea did something different this year, she had 10 wish laterns, instead of balloons, it was so neat to watch the lit laterns float up to the sky in memory of you. Bill and Deb Nagle sent one up for Jessica, Steve and Beth Ziemba sent one up for Mason Samborski. Every one made a wish and I think I know what that wish was.
Always in my heart.
Love and miss you.
Watch over you family and friends far and near.

Tonight we celebrated your life. It's hard to believe that it's been 9 years since both you and Jessica have been gone. Because of the both of you we have gotten to know your wonderful family and friends.

You are loved and missed by all.

I can not believe that is has been 9 years. I really wish you were here. Things are going really well. Tomorrow we will celebrate your life with your friends and ours. Jordan will play with the Pipe and Drum band again. She actually practiced this time. She will be driving soon, I am counting on you to be her guardian angel as she adventures out by herself. I can't believe I only have two more years left with her before she leaves for college.

I have really missed you this past year, there is not a day that does not go by that I do not think of you. I get to go to the sibs retreat again in about a month. Thank you for bringing those special people into my life.

I know you will be watching tomorrow. We will all be thinking of you and of all of the good times we each shared with you during your life.

I love and miss you!

Thanks Bro! It is going to be a great summer :) I know that you are always by my side. Jordan and I had a blast this weekend. She is a special young woman, she makes me so proud to be her mom and I know that you are by her side also. She talks about you all the time, misses you alot. Next year we will both kayak, the one activity you really enjoyed. Next we need to try jet skis, that should be fun :)

Keep watching over the family. I miss and love you. Thanks for being our Blue Angel.

Your Mom and I both really liked this poem so I posted it on Jessica's and told her I would post for you. It was on the back of the program from the Capital in DC on May 15, 2011 -

NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

Their uniform is often blue
But come in brown and
Green and suntan too
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

The Badge may be a shield
It may also be a star, silver or gold
But seen from afar
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

A thankless job they willingly do
To provide protection for me and you
And they do it
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

Hated by many, but loved by few
Only they know best the job they must do
And they do it
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

An arbitrator, negotiator and
Enforcer of the law
Doctor, lawyer, keeper of the peace
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

When they’re off to work each day
And you at home do silently pray,
“Lord, be with them as they go their way”
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

And when their time has to pass
And when the Father calls them home,
There’s a bigger job that must be done.
NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE

Hi Scotty,
Just got back from a week visit with your Grandma, what a sense of humor, you would enjoy a visit with her.I was so glad I was able to be with her for her 91st birthday.
I played so much bingo, but she enjoys it, I had to laugh she would check my card to see if I was doing it right.
I love what she did with the family picture, I'm sure you had a good chuckle.

Your friend and partner moved to Oregon with his family, will miss him, but happy for him, we wish him the best.

Watch over your family and friends.
Love and miss you.

Someone posted that men like you "don't grow on trees" and I had to laugh. It reminded me of the day we set up on that party store and you decided the best "eye" was from 12 feet up a tree and across the freeway. I miss ya buddy.
