Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Renee Danell Azure

Stopping in at your page to thank your Mom for remembering my son Michael. I know there is not a day that goes by that you are not in her thoughts. I was sitting here looking at your photograph and know you had 2 years in law enforcement. I'm sure it was a lifes dream that you had to be a police officer and some people may wonder what kind of police officer you may have become if your career was longer than the 2 years. I know you became that police officer in the short tenure you had in law enforcement and I thank you for your dedicated service to others and for being the true hero that you are. You will never be forgotten by those that love you nor with the Blue Family ever let your memory be forgotten. Continue to watch over your loved ones, come to them in their dreams so they can feel your presence and know you are at their sides. Should your Mom ever need to contact me all she has to do is email odmp and they will pass the word on to me. Take care Blue Angel.

I came across a statement and would like to leave it for your Mom for I know how she feels every day as she faces each day without you.
"The sense of loss does not diminish with time, in truth, the expression 'time heals all wounds,' is a myth. For parents, the loss of a child is permanent and mental scar tissue really does not grow over the grim memory. Rather, all tears are expended and a dull ache remains."
Contiue to watch over your Mom and daughter and all your loved ones.

RENEE,
It’s been a long time since I last dropped in to say hello, I just want you to know that you’re still here with me riding shotgun in the car and that there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. I hope all is well with you, as you look down upon us and keep us safe. Continue to patrol your streets of heaven and well take the beat down here. Your truly missed, keep smiling and rest well. I love you!

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones during this holiday season. Each day is a real challenge for them to face, even more so during this time of the year. I have decorated the outside of my home in all blue lights and one of those lights in burning brightly in your honor. You have not been forgotten. Continue to watch over your loved ones.

Deputy Azure, I know I speak for your fellow brother and sister deputies here when I say you have not been forgotten. On this day which is the anniversary of when you lost your life, we had a moment of silence at briefing today and asked God to allow you to watch over us as we hit the streets. God Bless you.

Deputy Azure Rest in peace my sister in arms

Deb
I want to thank you for the words you provided to Joshua Norris EOW 7/5/07 who was to be my son in-law, they touched my daughter and has helped my family during a dark time. My daughter had a general idea of how large our police family was, but your reflection showed just how large the family of blue is. God bless you
