Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones on this anniversary of you being called away. I know the day is a very long day for those that love your dearly. I'm sure they wonder if the day will ever come when they can be happy again. Hey little Blue Angel. Was thinking about you the past few days. We never met but I know it would have been an honor to have worked with you and been your boss. I know your Mom is going through a rough time right now. They come and go as all of us Bereaved Parents know. Some days are better than others and we live from day to day and think of our lost children every day. Our lives have been changed forever. Continue to wrap your wings around your Mom and daughter, protect them and help them with their grief. A decade will soon be here that you have been gone and to some people it will feel like just yesterday and to others it has felt like a lifetime since they saw your smile, heard your voice or felt your warm touch. Rest little Blue Angel, visit your Mom in her dreams and let her know you are near and watching over her and your daughter. You will never be forgotten

Renee,
I saw your beautiful daughter Faith this year at the Tallahassee memorial. I cannot believe how big she has gotten. Such a beautiful young lady, I know you are smiling down on her from heaven. You must be so proud of your Mom and Dad they have done such a wonderful job under such hearbreaking circumstances. I saw Faith crying and it broke my heart but I know she will always remember what a strong and courageous mom she has. Watch over us and your family.

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones on the very special and blessed holiday. A few weeks ago I included your photograph along with that of my son Michael. As your photo appeard in the quiet chapel, your name was called out and a candle lit in your honor. It is my way of keeping your names alive for others to hear and know what heroes you are. Renee was a great woman and a wonderful mother.. I only knew her for a small amount of time but I have never forgotten her or Faith. I met them in the summer of 2001 when I was ten. We went canoeing down the Ocklawaha river and had such a blast. She was so kind and friendly.. The loss of her presence is a true tragedy! Best wishes to the Azure family, you are in my thoughts.
