The Sheriffs of Florida and their deputies will never forget the sacrifice you and your family made to uphold our laws and protect society.

Your name has been inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs and the National Law Enforcement Memorial and in our hearts. May you forever rest in peace.

A scripture inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs Law Enforcement Memorial:

"Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called the children
of God." Matthew 5:9

I am also late visiting your page. Your Mom knows how hard it is when the day comes around and you just don't think straight. You have not been forgotten, may take me a few extra days as August is a bad month. Every December I make sure your name is read and a candle lit in your honor as a way of not forgetting you. I want to leave this for your Mom:

"when you are sorrowful look again in your heart and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." by Kahill Gibran

Was thinking of you over the past few days with the death of Officer Ashley Guindon. I know you met her when she arrived to begin her new tour of duty with you and the other Blue Angels. Continue to keep all of your loved ones under your wings and protect them, especially your Mom for I know her pain, especially a mother's bond with her child. You will never be forgotten.

Hi Blue Angel. I'm also late leaving a reflection. Your Mom knows how hard it is to do this an even after 13 years it does not get any easier. It is as if we are in a time warp, the world continues on but we stagger along in a haze. People will say it seems like just yesterday you were here, but for those that love you dearly it has felt like a lifetime since they last saw your smile, felt your warm touch and heard your voice. Please watch over your loved ones and know that their journey in life continues and that they are not alone.

Hey mommy, I can't believe today marks 13 years that we've been without you. Seems like not that long ago you were coming to grandma's to pick me up after work but I guess it has. I've been good. School's great and I have a best friend but that's all I really need anyways. I miss you and I love you and let Baby Azure know I love and miss him too. Always in my heart
Your Daughter,

The years pass and for those left behind time does not ease the pain. Continue to watch over your loved ones and know that you have not been forgotten:

Gone is the face we loved so dear
Silent is the face we loved to hear.
Too far away for sight or speech
But not too far for thought to reach.
Sweet to remember her once here
Who, though absent, is just as dear.

Hi Mom, just wanted to let you know how everything's going. I had surgery, finally. And I'm still sore and what not but I'm sure it will get better. I'm almost done with 9th grade. Yaaaaaaayyyyy!!! I have about 3 more days of school. So excited for Summer. My summer is completely booked up. Well that's about it for now. Love and miss you lots. Faith

I don't now why your death moved me so much, but we will remember how you lived. You were so young to be cut short and now you are frozen in time in our hearts. Such a bright young officer with a life cut so short. A trail blazing heroine. RIP sister, you are not forgotten. My condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of this wonderful lady, mom, friend, daughter and sister and an OFFICER.

Thinking of you and your loved ones today. Continue to watch over them. I know a number of years have passed since your were called away, that does not diminish the pain they feel in their hearts nor the thoughts they have of you every day. You will never be forgotten by those that love you. Continue to stay close to your loved ones, let them feel your presence so they know you are near.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 11th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your friends and family for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections. Thanks to your mother for all she does to honor fallen officers.

Hey mommy, I haven't left a reflection in forever so I thought I should maybe do one. I'm in 8th grade now and next year I'll be going to high school. I want to go to Forest but grandma is arguing with me about me going to Bellview. Why can't I just pick the school I want to go to? I mean, they're both good schools. Dance is going great by the way. I have three solos this year and of course my lyrical one is for you. The song is Heavan Got Another Angel. I can't wait for competition and to perform it FULLY for you. Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Luv ya!!!!!

Deputy Azure,
As summer draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the time I spent with your mother and daughter, at summer camp. Your daughter touched a very special place in my heart. It was difficult to get through the week without thinking, but for the grace of God, it was not my daughter at camp. Your daughter is a beautiful, bright young woman, and a talented dancer. Your family's loss and love for you is evident. I pray that you continue to watch over and guide them through this loss. I look forward to seeing them again and learning more about what a wonderful addition you were to their lives.

I am so sorry that I too forgot your EOW date, I thought that it was today. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years. Renee would be so proud of how you have carried on and the amazing young lady Faith has become. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry that I forgot your EOW date. I was busy with my sister who has since joined you. I think of you often at the oddest times. Your mother is one of my inspirations in this walk of grief that we were forced on. I keep Lisa, Faith, your mom and dad in my prayers.
