It is still hard to deal with, but we lost two great officers and two great friends, But we gained two Heroes. They did not die in Vain, but died doing what they loved doing. They died protecting our community and it's citizens. We will keep fighting for justice in their names. They will NEVER be forgotten. God Bless them and their Families. Officer Coz Minetos

Dave was a dedicated police officer and a dedicated father. Assigned to the departments Tactical Unit, he lived by the motto, "Duty above all else except Honor". Dave was one of the most courageous, caring, heroic officers you could ever ask to work with. He was an asset to the department and to the community he worked for. What is our loss is heavens gain...........

Another hero gone too soon, where you are now is a much better place, but to those you left behind, only unimaginable grief. What a loss for the citizens of this country. We are losing officers at an alarming rate, where is the justice for our "victims in blue"? Officer Scott, you have given this country the ultimate sacrifice, may God Bless those you left behind....

16 down, 4 to go

Dear Law Enforcement Family,

I do not know you but I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I am the wife of a police officer and I pray each night that my husband comes home to me. His last words to me before he leaves for work is, “I love you and I’ll be home.” I pray he is able to keep his word.

God be with you and your family.

Tracy
Policeman's Wife

The Policeman stood and faced his God-which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining as brightly as his brass. "Step forward now, Officer, how shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To my church have you been true?" The Officer squared his shoulders, and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint- Cause those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint. But I never took a penny-that wasn't mine to keep, Though I worked a lot of overtime-when the bills just got too steep, and I never passed a cry for help-though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I wept unmanly tears. I know I don't deserve a place-among the people here-They never wanted me around-except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord-it needn't be so grand. I've never expected-or had too much, but if you don't, I understand" There was silence all around the throne-where the saints had often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the answer of his God. "Step forward now, Patrolman Scott, youv'e borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets-you've done your time in Hell" author unknown.....God bless Patrolman Scotts family, friends and co-workers, you will be in our prayers.

David as one of my recurits when you hired you kept me young and taught me a great deal. I will always remember your willingness to learn and move forward. I was never so proud as when you made Field training officer and was named to the tactical unit. Always walk at the right hand of god and he will walk with you. May god bless all whom you have touched.

It hurts to know that another one of Gods Warriors has left us here, we as law enforcement officers know that we have our hands full with the evil that lurks in our country. You as a brother in blue are a true hero to us all. I will see you again one day, in our true home. My family and I will keep the family and fellow warriors in our prayers. May the Prince of Peace comfort you all...

"I'll See You Again Some Day"

I remember our last touch
But, today that memories not enough
To keep these tears out of my eyes
To fill this void left in my life
Tho we may be far apart
You still live here in my heart
I"ll see you again some day
With open arms you'll walk my way
You'll be there at heavens gate
And once again we'll embrace
Oh, I"ll see you again some day.

Thro the years I could always count on you
Knowing you has made me strong
Thro my life you will live on
Missing you is not quite so hard
Each day I will remind my heart
I"ll see you again some day
With open arms you'll walk my way
You'll be there at heavens gate
And once again we'll embrace
Oh, I'll see you again some day.

Oh, I"ll see you again some day.

God bless the blue angels.
Those willing to go, everyday
into the valley of the shadow.
And those who now find peaceful
shelter on the other side.

You are forever in our hearts.
Thank you for all you do.

My heart breaks as I know that we have lost not only a top notch tactical officer & quality training officer, but a brother that was always ready with a laugh. Dave, your presence at work will be sorely missed. I quote now the last lines from my favorite poem....."There was silence all around the throne where the saints had often trod as the Officer waited quietly, for the Judgement of his God. Step forward now my child, You have borne your burdens well. Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets....You've done your time in Hell." Rest well, my brother.
