Reflections for Trooper First Class Jimmie Harold White, II

Jimmy, I did not know you well at least I don’t think I did. You were friends with my father who was SGT at Jacksonville Police Department. My dad had nothing but good things to say about you. As a police officer I thank you for the path that you have help create. May God Bless you and your family.

Jimmie, I feel like I know you and can call you Jimmie, for the last three years I have met your family in Little Rock for the annual Police Memorial and I feel they are part of my family, too. My heart hurts especially for your parents (I know how they feel). They love you and missed you so much!

Jimmie, rest in peace. We will never forget and, for as long as we live, we will love and honor you, my son, Michael Waters, and all the fallen officers... our heroes. We are family.

Jimmie, I still can't beieve you were taken away from us. I know God has a master plan and we have to trust it. Things are not the same without you. We are never in a group long until we all start telling "Jimmie" stories and laughing. We know you and Tim are cruising those golden streets as we speak. I look forward to seeing you again. Until then, "Later Dude"

I still think about you every day brother. I miss talking to you and the way you always made me laugh with your impersonation of Hank Hill, "Dammit Bobby". You were a true friend and you'll always be my hero!

My much beloved brother, you remain in our hearts every day. Time goes on, but our lives will never be the same without your laughter, your strength and your love. We are proud of you and your service to the citizens of our state, but mostly we are proud of you for the type of son, husband, brother, uncle and friend you were. My love goes out to you today and forever more, Sheryl.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to This Officer, as well as the Family, Friends, Department and Community.

This is a loss that will never be forgotten. Hours will turn into days, days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years but, the difference that these officers have made will last forever.

We lost Our Deputy Morris Taylor on September 14, 2002. When he joined the other Angels in Blue.
