If this officer has any kids or a wife or girlfriend I give them my deepest love and Pray that they will handle this situation well. I have never experienced losing someone I love but my father is a police officer and I worry about him every day because it get more and more dangerous every day. I hope some day you will see him again some day in heaven if you are a friend or family.

Day after day, week after week, the list of fellow officers fallen in the line of duty grows longer. The tragic loss of Deputy Davis is even more bitter coming on his birthday. What greater gift could he have given to others than to avoid those kids. Deputy Davis rest in peace and know that you have made the ultimate sacrfice for which we honor you and will never forget. To your family and friends my deepest condolences.

The Monument
I never dreamed it would be me, my name for all eternity,
recorded here at this hallowed place, alas, my name, no more my face. "In the line of duty" I hear them say;
my family now the price will pay, my folded flag stained with tears; we only had those few short years. The badge no longer on my chest, I sleep now in eternal rest; my sword I pass to those behind, and pray they keep this thought in mind; I never dreamed it would be me, and with heavy heart and bended knee; I ask for all here from the past, Dear God, let my name be the last.
