Another tragic and senseless loss of a fine young police officer. Rest in peace and God bless,

I was saddened to just learn of the death of Officer Jacks. Our thoughts and prayers go out for her Department, family and friends. Officer Jacks, your death was not in vain. We thank you for your service. You are a hero and we are very proud of you. Another star shines in Heaven tonight. My Department lost an officer within the past year. The suspect also shot Deputy Deckard with his duty weapon. God Bless you, Officer Jacks.

I hate to hear about this it is really sad. Jacks is my maiden name, now I wonder if she was any relation. Rest In Peace Julie.

An Angel fell from Heaven today
Another Officer died
The Angels in Heaven were silent today
While the Chattanooga Police Department cried

Officer Julie Jacks went to Heaven today
With Angels at her side
She's patrolling a beat in Heaven today
Still standing on the line...

In loving memory of Officer Julie Jacks....

To the family, friends, and partners of Officer Jacks,

Every time an officer is killed someone is left hurting. When that officer is young and has a full life ahead the tragedy is magnified one thousand times. To those that love this hero I offer no explanation. Just glorify her service to her fellow man and trust in God that somehow there is a reason too obscure for us to understand. I am so sorry for your loss and all of you are in my prayers.
