I was just thinking of you and how it will be 14 years since we graduated the academy in September. It seems like yesterday. Your smile still shines bright!

Kristin,
My daughter ran in your honor this year 2013, and she made it!!! when she struggled she looked up said "I want to finish for kristin", she finished crossing the finish line, and was so happy asking if you saw her crossing the finish line! I told her yes, and went over to your name on the wall, to tell you we miss you! Keep watch over us.

Ofc Pataki,

I am a local officer whom you have never met. I pass your Cross on Clarksburg Rd at the beginning and the ending of my shift everyday I go to work. This year I participated in the Police Unity Tour and rode in your honor. Although we have never met I felt you were with me on the ride.

God Bless you and your family.

Kristin,

Just to say I am thinking of you, along with my family! Can't believe it's been 10 yrs since the last time I saw you, and gave you a big hug in court! We were all so excited to be done with police academy! Today, I ran in the law enforcement 5k to honor you, and to raise money for families of police survivors! Ms. Pataki I think of you often and pray for you, and your family every night as does my family. Kristin you would be tickled that my daughter who is 3 saw some dogs running in the 5k, came up to me after the race and said daddy, I saw some cute dogs running, did your friend like dogs? I told her yes she did, and she said they were running for you! Also next year she wants to run to honor you as well! We miss you and think of you often.

I had the honor of riding the Police Unity Tour in your name last year and every year that I participate I take a moment to visit your name on the wall. It has been a pleasure to meet your mother and to get to know her. We all miss you and remember your sacrifice.

Kristin

It's 2200 hours on May 4, 2012, and I'm sitting here at the site of your crash. I'ts the last place that I saw you. I can't believe it's been 10 years. I Pray for your Mom every time you cross my mind. I'm really glad we worked together alot that last week you were with us. I just wish I could have said goodbye properly.

Janice, if you ever need anything, just let me know. I'll do what I can. I hope this night finds you with as much Peace and Comfort that is humanly possible. I can tell you that tonite, while I'm sitting here, is a cool Spring night under the light of a full moon. It is very peaceful and quiet. My thoughts and Prayers go out to you. I just thought you might like to know that.

Thinking of all of you.
