Reflections for Refuge Manager Richard Jerry Guadagno

HERO! Rest in peace BLUE ANGEL! You will never be forgotten.

Police Officer
Tennessee

July 25, 2006

While many people aren't even aware that there was a law enforcement officer on the palne, there are still many who are. Those of us who know will always remembr and strive to let others know in an attempt keep your memory alive. There is no doubt in my mind that you were one who fought to take the plane back knowing that you may die. You and everyone else on the plane died so that other could live. God Bless you for your ultimate sacrifice. To his family know that there are those of us who never knew him and yet will never forget him.

Thank you for your heroic act. Even though you were not able to say your life or the lives of those on the plane, you probably saved thousands of others.

Thank you

Three years ago you boarded a plane as a passenger, little did anyone know you had began your flight to heaven.
You and your fellow passengers made a call that not only took guts and courage, but saved untold lives.
May god bless all the heroes and victims of 9-11-01.

There are but two persons who protect the sinful human race from destroying itself. One is God's Holy Spirit. The other is the Peace Officer. Without them, we would all perish at each other's hands.

You were called into this profession and our Lord and Savior has blessed you because:
According to Romans 13.1-5...
God ordains the Peace Officer’s profession.
The Peace Officer is sent by God.
The Peace Officer is vested with God's authority to enforce the law.
A Peace Officer's badge is to be honored by us, because God honors it.

You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for your fellow man, while serving, defending, and protecting others in your community.

Thank you for your service to America. Your efforts saved thousand that horrible day. You are a true hero.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. You will be in our hearts forever.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Don't grieve for me, for now I am free,
I am following the path GOD laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh…to love…to work…to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
For I found peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
These things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
For I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undo grief.
So lift up your heart and share with me,
GOD wanted me now...He has set me free.

Remember...to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die
