Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Adam V. Streicher

My condolences go out to Deputy Streicher's family, friends and fellow officers. I met Deputy Streicher at PTI in February 2002 during the 80 hour transition course. The murder of Deputy Streicher is a senseless tragedy that will forever change an entire community. The law enforcement community has lost yet another brother in blue. Deputy Streicher will be missed by not only his family and friends, but by the entire law enforcement community.

Patrol Officer Daniel Schroeder
Rockton Police Department (IL)

God Bless You Adam,
Another Brother in Blue killed over serving a warrant to a senior citizen. Adam you will not be forgotten. You are a hero just like PO Donald Marquez, Chicago Police Department, D.O.D. 19MAR02. Rest in Peace and Protect all Police, Fire, and EMS.

May God grant you eternal rest and peace Deputy Streicher. You have worked hard for a noble cause, and you have paid the ultimate price. Your sacrafice will never be forgotten. You are a hero. Watch over all of us who still remain fighting for the same cause as you once did. God Bless!

Yet again a fellow officer has been taken from us in the prime of his life. God bless you, Adam, for your sacrifice and dedication to your family, friends and community. We all weep separately, yet we all weep as one.

Rest In Peace, my brother.

St. Louis City Police (MO)

I was in Law Enforcement for 37 years. I attended far too many Police funerals during my career. I will never "get used" to it. This was another sensless murder. Deputy Streicher, your career was short, but you made an impact on your community. God Bless you and your family. You will be sadly missed.

Robert W. Cannon, Captain(Retired)
Vermilion County(IL) Sheriff's Dept.

God bless you and your family, Blue angel.

Thank God these wonderful heroes are willing to work on our side each and every day. My prayers are with the family and other survivors of Deputy Streicher.
