Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Larry Mack Dowdy

My thoughts & prayers are with you. Please keep watch over all of us still doing the job!

Officer Matthew Kelly
Haverford Twp Police, Havertown,PA

Rest easy, your watch is over now. May God bless your family and friends.

Friend

I wrote this for Larry and it was read during his funeral yesterday. I thought I would share my thoughts with others: ....We have always been told and trained that a day like this may happen, we even prepare ourself for the day it may happen..whereas in reality you are never prepared to lose a friend and partner...theres not enough training in the world to prepare you for this day...but once you really sit down and think you realize...we didn't lose a friend...we didn't lose a partner...in reality we gained an angel to look after us...Larry, we miss you and we know you will always have our back..you will always be with us...WE LOVE YOU...
