Your heroism and service is honored today, the 75th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.

I see there are no other reflections for you. That does not mean your are forgotten.

Somewhere there is still someone grieving for you. There are family members proud that think of you each day.

And there is me. Although you ended your watch over 70 years ago, I am still on mine, and hopefully will be for years.

I am your brother.
I am a member of your family.
I did not know you.
I never worked by your side.

But I will never forget you and those that walked before me, as I will remember those who worked alongside me, and look forward to meeting those that follow me.

For we are all family. We all walk that thin blue line. And we are all "in the job" together.

You will always be remembered
