Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Throughout my 27 years with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office I have passed the location where you gave your life in the line of duty to protect this community, state and nation. My deepest wish and prayer each time I pass is that God will grant me the strength to give my all if called upon to do so. You and your sacrifice will not be foregotten.
