there is a destiny that makes us brothers,
none go his way alone,
all that we send into the lives of others,
comes back into our own.

Detective Perez thank you for your selfless service, my prayers to your family, friends, and fellow officers in blue, you will be missed in this life, but someday we will all be together on streets of gold. God Bless

Family and Friends of Detective Perez,

We are with you as you grieve.
Our hearts are heavy too.
We feel the loss and struggle to comprehend it.
We pray for strength and comfort, for understanding and for perfect peace.
We pay our respects and give honor to the one you love and have lost.
We are all around you.
We will stand by you.
We are sincere when we say, “If you need anything, you just have to ask.”
You will know us by our badges.
We will not forget.

I'm faithful that this is not the end for Officer Perez. If not for my faith that death will one day be conquered, I don't think it would be possible to cope with all the tragedy that life deals us, sometimes unexpectedly. I pray that God will now be a father to his children.

Rest In Peace

Situations like this should serve to remind us all how precious life is. We take our lives into our hands every day to face the criminal element and end up dying as a result of bad road conditions. To the family, friends & colleagues of Detective Perez, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. What a tragedy that this Officer who worked his way up to becoming a Detective was able to perform this duty for such a short period of time. Godspeed Alvin!
