This week your son will be one of the speakers at the Lorain County Police Memorial. I'm sure he will make you proud. He has grown into quite the young man. Beaufort County S.O. is sending a representative, and he will be bringing your mom. You will be well remembered this Wednesday and Thursday.

Can’t believe it’s been so long. You were a great supervisor and I’m honored to have known you. I still remember the last time we spoke. Franks and I were working midnights. It was cold and snowy. You called to chat and laughed at us because we had to deal with the Ohio winters. You said that while we were freezing you were sitting in your PC with a shirt sleeve shirt on and the windows down. Thanks for being the person you were. Say hey to sponge and hope the weather is beautiful up there.

Barb & I went to Toledo today for Cory's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. He spoke of his goals to attend M.I.T or Purdue. You would have been one proud father today Dyke.

You would have been proud of your son today. The Lorain County Police Memorial was in Wellington this year. Cory, escorted by the Wellington Police Honor Guard, placed the Wreath, then left a rose as they read your memorial. He was able to meet and speak with many of the guys you worked with in Ohio, and heard a lot of stories about you. He is a damn fine young man Dyke..
