Sorry I am late this year, lots going on. Things in our profession are a bit tense this year, as I am sure you are aware. Lost 3 brothers the week before Christmas. Welcome them into heaven and watch over their families. Rest in peace my brother.

Don,

With the recent events at the agency, it has surfaced pain that I never wanted to feel again. Brother, to this day you are truely missed by so many. Even tonight on the brink of things to come, I sat at the park named after you and prayed for the officers and families involved. Please, embrace those you will meet in heaven. Love you man

Hey brother, still think about you all the time and always will. I have the rubbing of your name from the NLEOM wall in DC in my office and some of my deputies ask about you. It's been a long time now and we're coming up on 12 years. It never gets any easier when you lose a brother or sister in blue but we have to keep on keeping on and not let the bad guys win or let evil prevail. Thank you for watching over us all as I know you do, keeping us safe. RIP brother

I was at a particular police department the other day and when I walked by the Chief's office his name was Don Miller. Lots of memories soon flooded me which of course made me smile. I think of you often and pray for your family and friends left behind, but know that you are wrapping them in your angel arms. I remember numerous conversations we had, which always led me to believe you knew your destiny, however your memory is still strong in those that love you. Peace in knowing that you are watching above.

Today, I had the privilege of attending the 2013 NC Peace Officer Memorial Day ceremony in Fayetteville.
The names of seven NC peace officers were added to the 2012 Honor Roll as these fallen heroes were remembered not only for their ultimate sacrifices, but also for the lives that they lived. The church was packed with family members, friends, co-workers, and comrades from across the state as we also remembered/honored all those fallen heroes from years past.
I think of you often my friend. WE SHALL NEVER FORGET.

Don,

I don't know why but you just popped in my mind. I remembered some of the calls we took together when I would work quad 4, the Palamino always comes to mind. Some crazy calls my friend.

Hey Mr. Don,
it has been a while since I have been on this page. There are so many more reflections than the last time I've been here. Which shows that you have made an impact on everyone that you have met. I sure do miss you a lot, and many people too. You will always have a special place in my heart. Love you and miss you Mr. Don
