TO THE MORGAN FAMILY MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU.

TO CHUCK
WE ALL WERE TAKEN BY A SURPRISE WHEN THE CALL CAME IN THAT YOU TOO WERE GONE. I GUESS YOUR MANSION WAS FINALLY READY, SO YOU WERE TAKEN FROM ALL YOUR PAIN. I HAD JUST COME UP TO CHECK ON YOU ABOUT 2 HRS BEFORE WE GOT THE CALL. I DROVE PAST YOUR HOUSE LAST WEEK TO SEE A RAINBOW PEEKING OUT OF THE CLOUDS ABOVE YOUR HOUSE. AND THE NEXT DAY I HEARD YOU WERE DOING BETTER. I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO PULL THRU THIS HORRIBLE THING. I GUESS THAT WAS GOD SMILING ON YOU AND HE KNEW THAT THAT MANSION WAS ALMOST DONE.THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO PROTECT MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF FROM THOSE WHOM BREAK THE LAW.

We stand on a wall and say, no one is going to hurt you tonight, not on my watch.

Officer W. S. Hood, Jr.
Roswell GA Police Department

Chuck,

It just seems like yesterday we all were joking and talking in the SO. The last time we all talked you were telling us to watch our backs. I wish I could have been there to watch yours.
Everyone seems to be holding up. The place just wont be the same without you. It just doesn't seem real! How could this of happened to us?
Rest easy 722. We will carry on for you.

Deputy Christopher Whatley

Chuck,
I still can't believe we lost Billy and now you have left us also. You hung on for fifteen days. I don't know how you made it that long. Now you can walk the beat on your final watch. May God watch over you and your family as you watch over us.
Godspeed.
