This is our 9th Christmas without you. You are always in our hearts.
We miss you so much. You are on our minds 24 hours a day especially on the holidays. We think about the last Christmas we spent together. It still hurts. Tears still flow.
Until we meet again, you will be always thought about and loved more each day.
I received beautiful Christmas flowers again this year. It is so thoughtful of him to continue to send them. He is a special person to remember you each year.

This is in Memory of all of our Hero's.

Heaven has asked us for one
of our heroes today
So unfortunately we must let one go.

Heroes get up each day and dress in blue
They patrol our streets, watch our cities,
and keep us safe.

They make a difference that we often overlook
until it's to late.

Never forget the sacrifice of those
who have gone before...

And never take for granted the
sacrifice of the heroes who are still
with us.

Don, was thinking about you today. I take things you told me while we were in the Unit together and try to apply them.
I cant believe its been eight years. I hope the time makes it easier for your family, but I am sure it does not. They, like everyone else knows you are a hero. Please rest easy brother.

Lorraine,
Thank you once again for leaving a reflection for my son in law, you are remarkable, the pain is still here but not as bad, as you know. I missplaced your email address somewhere along the line but I have thought about you and your kind words and hope we can connect somewhere or somehow.
OUR kids were great, they gave their lives doing what they loved, we have to honor them and always remember.
God Bless you and your family

Donald and Lorraine,
Didn't forget you, just couldn't leave a reflection, things have been unmanageable lately. I think of you often, sometimes that's all I can do is think.

Much love.

To the Bond family,
Today we are remembering the service, heroic action, and loss of your loved one. It saddens me that we share the same tragic day (different years, same day). I wish your family peace, and I hope they know that we will continue to support them. May you all know that we will always remember Deputy Sheriff Donald Kenneth Bond, and we appreciate his service to his community and all of us. He remains a true hero.
Sincerely,
Charmaine Gernale

Thinking of you today, buddy. It's been eight years. You should still be policing the streets and doing those good deeds that you did and never said anything about.

Don, I just want you to know we still think of you all the time and miss you. Sometimes you just come to mind, or its everytime I pass "the spot", or pull into the squad room and pass your memorial, or see your plaque on the wall, or see your mailbox at the office, or hear of another brother giving his life, or just a random memory of you. Time has passed but we always remember.
