Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of our fallen brother. May the lord be with all of you in this time of pain.

Sergeant Tobey Whitney
Fruita Police Department (Colorado)

On June 5th, 2001, I lost a good friend, Sgt. Myron Deckard who was shot and killed, so I know the pain that Sheriff Presley's friends and family are going through. It is difficult to understand why these sensless acts happen.

We take comfort in knowing these dedicated officers were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice to do what they did best-protect our citizens from these cowards.

My sincere thanks goes out to all police officers and especially those who have ended their watch in such tragic circumstances.

God Bless You,

Robert W. Cannon, Captain(Retired)
Vermilion County(IL) Sheriff's Dept.

GOD BLESS SHERIFF PRESLEY, AND MAY GOD GRANT HIM REST. MY PRAYERS GO TO HIS FELLOW OFFICERS AND FAMILY, HAVING LOST A FRIEND AND PARNTER I FEEL THE SAME PAIN THEY DO.

TROOPER RICKY MANION

Rest In Peace you ol' "Hound Dog." Enjoy your reunion with your cousin, Elvis!
