It's been a while since I said hello. I surely doesn't seem like twelve years already. You are not forgotten. After you were lost, we lost one of our own here. I think of you both all the time. We will see you again someday. Rest easy until then.....

Had a dream about you and Hash last night. We were all in high school again hanging out, having fun. Was a great dream until I woke up and realized it was just a dream. I'll never forget all the good times! Thanks for leaving me with those memories! Watch over us all and keep us safe!

Jay -

I cant believe that it has been this long. I look back and it seems like yesterday. It still pains me to drive through Arizona City and remember some of the events of that day that changed so many lives. I have used you as a model example throughout my career, whether it be as a Field Training Officer, Academy Instructor, Academy Sgt. you are forever with me and I feel as though you have been with me for every success throughout my career. At times when I have fallen the hardest and felt as if I couldn't get back up, I know you were there as my driving force and the strenght I needed to pick me back up at a time when I felt as if i was done.

I wanted you to know that since you have passed there has been an addition to my family with a set of twins, a boy and a girl, with the boy who ironically wieghed 6 lbs., 13 ounces and whom I proudly, with the permission of your dad and Corina named Jason Patrick Villegas. My daughters name is Jaylin Riley and I also wanted you to know that Corina is the God Mother to both of them and it is a painful reminder everytime I see her that you should be there too. I look at Christian and Michael and they remind me so much of you. They look so grown up compared to how little they were, even to the extent that Christian likes to be called Jay and not Christian. You would be so proud and amazed at how big they are getting and it amazes me that Michael is getting to be bigger than Christian. I do not see your family as often as I should and that is my downfall, but they are all doing well. I just wanted to say a few lines and let you know that you are still with me and there isnt a day that goes by that I do not think of you, Corina, and the kids. I also know that whatever may come for me both in the future of this agency and the future of my family that you are by my side every step of the way. You are with me on the graveyard shift at times when I feel the lonliest, riding shotgun with me in a 2 man unit as the silent partner, forever providing cover.

Jay,
How the years have flown by us. Today, as every day you are in our thoughts. You are truely truely missed, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. This is an anniversary we wish we did not have to celebrate, but God had a different mission for you. Like I said before, it was such an horor to serve with you, and may you continue to watch over us all.
Rest in peace.
